econd Step JY takes pride in serving the finest meals in Myoko. Chef and owner Jin Sato starts with the very finest ingredients he can find: fresh fish from the nearby Sea of Japan; vegetables from local farms; the best seasonings and oils from around the world.
The setting is in the best tradition of fine small restaurants in Europe. Second Step is an intimate, cozy restaurant right in the Sato’s home. Here Jin uses his long experience in both French and Japanese cooking to create Provence-style cuisine with inspired Japanese touches. Add on an excellent selection of French wines and original cocktails created by Jin’s wife — your host, Yasuko.
